We at Richmond Wealth are passionate about helping others, and as a business, we feel responsible for helping the community. Consequently, supporting the NSPCC charity in the work that they tirelessly do to protect #everychildhood struck a chord and compelled us to get involved.

Our charity partnership with the NSPCC began in Spring 2018 and as the year progressed, a super opportunity arose for us to further help the NSPCC on their mission to protect #everychildhood. This opportunity led to us sponsoring and assisting in the development of the NSPCC Helpline’s Holly Jolly Christmas Concert. This NSPCC Christmas event which was held at the iconic Belfast Cathedral really helped our charity partnership flourish… quite like a festive poinsettia, I suppose!

It really was quite the “Holly Jolly” occasion with the evening somewhat kicking off Christmas for many, due to it taking place on 4th December 2018 near the start of the Christmas advent, and we must admit it was a magical way to begin the countdown to Christmas 2018.

The entertaining evening was set in motion by the wonderful Pamela Ballentine who advocated a joyous yet purposeful atmosphere. As the evening progressed, a selection of local businesses including Lidl and the Ramada Encore took part by raising the roof with their renditions of festive songs, and the angelic singers of Killard House School truly made the sell-out event a night to remember.

Christmastime is a special period of the year for many people and it is often considered to be a particularly special time for children, but this is not always the case, which was highlighted at the memorable NSPCC Holly Jolly event. The concert not only raised awareness on how we as members of the community can try to protect children from the likes of neglect and abuse but also helped to raise valuable funds for the Helpline services that the NSPCC provide the nation with.

We were honoured to be a part of the NSPCC’s Christmas calendar and are looking forward to building our charity partnership with the NSPCC in the future!
